Royal Welsh Show 2017

Energy Now - Renewable Energy area returning to the Royal Welsh Show 2017

Energy Now will once again be organising the renewable energy area at the Royal Welsh Show 2017, taking place 24 – 27 July at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells.

Now in its 8th year, the renewables area, part of the popular Countryside Care Area, is in place to provide visitors with a central location for all queries relating to renewable energy generation and energy efficiency.

Up to 15 organisations will take part in this area, representing the wind, solar, hydro, biomass, biogas, heat pump and energy efficiency sectors. Products, including wind turbine nacelles, biomass boilers, solar panels and even working hydropower displays will be on show throughout the week.

Presentations from each organisation will also be delivered every 2 hours daily, providing more information on the opportunities and products available, together with the potential benefits and steps involved.

The organisations confirmed so far in this year’s renewables area are listed below.  Please check back regularly to see the latest organisation join us.
