Fischer Energy off to flying start

Leicester-based energy supplier Fischer Energy are on course to smash their target of 25,000 customers in their first year of trading.

Head of operations Brad Goodfellow said: “I am delighted by such a positive start; customers are responding to our philosophy of fairness and competitive sustainable prices. We also bill our customers in arrears, which is proving particularly popular.”

The challenger firm has entered the market with a single ‘One Fair Tariff’ in an attempt to keep things simple for members.

Mr Goodfellow added: “Unlike many companies, we don’t discriminate between customers with short-term enticement deals. It’s not fair, it’s not right and it doesn’t make sense. We are trying to shake-up this industry for the better and our message is resonating fantastically well with our new customers.”

Since trading began at the end of January, Fischer Energy have successfully completed all Controlled Market Entry obligations and are on-target to achieve ISO27001 accreditation by the end of May 2017, in readiness for full SMETS2 roll-out by 2020.

Fischer Energy have voluntarily entered into the Warm Home discount and Feed-in-Tariff scheme highlighting the companies proactive approach to high-levels of customer service.
