The Energy Now Expo has proved to be extremely popular, highlighting the sheer amount of interest in renewable energy from farmers and landowners across the country.

There is not long left before the third annual event opens its doors, so hurry and book your place! Being held in association with both the NFU and the CLA, sponsored by NatWest Bank and supported by leading organisations including the RASE, BHA and Anglia Farmers, the 2012 event consists of;

- A two-day conference, featuring specialists discussing the latest developments affecting the sector, the technologies and their viability. The conference will be chaired by the NFU renewable energy advisor, Dr Jonathan Scurlock, as well as the CLA’s chief surveyor Mr Oliver Harwood. It will combine presentations with interactive panel debates on a number of different topics, including biomass heating, owning your own wind turbine, setting up and maintaining a biogas plant and the future of Solar PV.

- An exhibition; featuring more than 120 different renewable energy product and service suppliers.

- A new workshop area where experienced suppliers and installers will provide practical advice on the steps involved in progressing with alternative energy solutions.
